Alcan acquires Malaysian tobacco packaging business

Alcan Inc. (NYSE, TSX: Al) announced on April 18 that it has acquired the tobacco packaging business of Malaysian cm printingsdn Bhd (CMP). The acquisition of this business is a further action of Alcan Packaging's market development strategy in emerging economies. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed
